“Opening a purpose-designed specialist dental practice in Sheffield has been quite an experience and a huge relief that the ideas and designs have been transformed into a wonderful environment to work, teach and provide high quality dentistry.”

The Sheffield practice was delighted to see so many colleagues attending the grand opening of the practice earlier this year, and have been overwhelmed by their encouragement.
Nigel said: “We would like to thank all of you for the support you have demonstrated by referring patients to us, in particular for implant dentistry, surgical dentistry and endodontics. It was therefore an even greater pleasure to welcome so many of you back, along with lots of new friends, to celebrate our first year since we opened the doors of one80dental.”
It seemed very appropriate to welcome one of the most highly regarded and well-known speakers on the international dental circuit to deliver our inaugural anniversary study day. Dr Tidu Mankoo has been a previous President of the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, is a visiting Professor at the International University of Catalunya in Barcelona, Spain and a founder and Past President of the British Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry (BAAD).
Almost one year to the day from opening, on Saturday 11 October 2014, Tidu delivered a fascinating day, encompassing his experiences in delivering innovative aesthetic dentistry. The focus was almost entirely based on dental implantology, in which he demonstrated wonderful results, which were documented over more than a decade. The feedback was so positive that one80dental have already agreed to get Tidu back next year, when they will be hoping to arrange a live surgery study day.
Nigel said: “I’m certain that this event planned for next year will be extremely popular, so as soon as there is a date in the diary we will let you know.“Of course our first anniversary had to be something special, however, rest assured that plans are afoot for the next major event. I am just in the process of confirming the date, but we will be looking forward to welcoming another very well-known,entertaining and inspiring speaker for our next study day.”
