Tom Frawley is an award winning Consultant and Specialist Orthodontist. As well as working in practice, Tom also works part-time as a Consultant at the Charles Clifford Dental Hospital in Sheffield, where he is involved in the management of complex multidisciplinary cases. He is also an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Sheffield, where he is heavily involved in the clinical training of postgraduate orthodontic students. Tom has authored 15 peer-reviewed publications and has been an invited national speaker on several topics relating to Orthodontics.

Tom studied Dentistry at the University of Sheffield, graduating with Honours in 2013. After increasing his exposure to a range of different dental specialities, Tom returned to the region to undertake both specialty and consultant training in Orthodontics. During this time, he obtained an MClinDent in Orthodontics (with Distinction), as well as his MOrth and ISFE qualifications. He has also been awarded several clinical and academic prizes, including the coveted Gold Medal from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh for being the best candidate nationally in the specialty exit examinations.

Tom is also the regional Dental Specialty Ambassador, and an examiner, for the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and the departmental audit lead in Sheffield.
