As we settle into Autumn, here’s our pick of what Sheffield has to offer us in October!
Pure 90s Disco Night
Held at the Carlton Park Hotel on the 3rd October, this is an opportunity to relive the glory days of the 90s. A three course dinner will be provided.

Capture Sheffield Weekend Photography Course
From 10.00-17.00 on the 3rd and 4th October, this course is an opportunity to both learn to take better pictures and to explore the local area. The majority of the course is practical, with you behind the camera, and involves planned routes through Sheffield.
Tickets are £150 for the whole weekend (lunch and refreshments are provided).
Jersey Boys
From the 6th-17th October, this musical tells the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, featuring well known classics such as December 1963 (Oh What A Night). Touring for the first time to the Lyceum, this musical has won 55 major awards worldwide.

Night Strider
On the 17th October, Sheffield will have its first night-time walking 10k and half marathon, in order to support Sheffield’s hospice.

From the 20th-24th October, Northern Ballet will bring George Orwell’s novel to life on stage at the Lyceum Theatre.

Sheffield Local 50+ Show
Held on October 23rd at the Royal Victoria Holiday Inn, the exhibition provides a different sort of day out. There’s live music, a fashion show, cooking demonstrations, bingo and a charity casino.
Admission is free with an advance ticket or a £3 donation on the door to the Children’s Hospitals Charity Trust.
