Tania Murphy

Tania is our Specialist in Orthodontics. She is also a part-time Orthodontic Consultant at Doncaster and Bassetlaw NHS Trust and has developed her career in and around Sheffield with a combination of both NHS and private practice.  She has extensive experience of providing high quality orthodontic treatment to patients and is passionate about improving smile aesthetics of both children and adults with orthodontic treatment alone or in combination with restorative dentistry.

Since qualifying as a dentist from the University of Sheffield in 1996, Tania continued to develop her expertise and obtained her first Masters degree in Oral Surgery in 1999, was awarded her Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery in 2000 and in 2002 achieved her second Masters degree in Orthodontics.   In 2003 she achieved Membership in Orthodontics, from the Royal College of Surgeons, England which led to her being recognised by the General Dental Council (GDC) as a Specialist in Orthodontics.  In 2005 she gained the Fellowship in Dental Surgery (Orthodontics) of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

Tania undertakes all aspects of Orthodontic work. She offers aligner systems such as C-Thru and Invisalign® and conventional fixed appliance systems including the tooth-coloured Radiance Plus™ by American Orthodontics. She is committed to helping patients improve the appearance of their smile and is always happy to discuss any aesthetic concerns a patient may have.
