Small, virtually painless injections give your wrinkles some time off so they begin to soften; you won’t look 20 years younger but you can expect a more natural and relaxed look.

Botulinum toxin is a prescription medicine that works by blocking signals from the nerves to the facial muscles and it is particularly effective on wrinkles between the eyebrows (one of the most obvious signs of ageing), forehead lines and wrinkles at the corners of the eyes (crow’s feet).

It can take up to 2 weeks to see the full results and the effects last for 3 to 4 months, although with repeated treatments they can last longer. Sometimes, to achieve the best results, wrinkle reduction treatment is used in combination with dermal fillers.
