What are the benefits of All-on-4 dental implants?
The All-on-4 technique is a permanent ‘fixed’ solution to complete tooth loss in the upper or lower jaw. The procedure puts four implants into the jaw, which never need to be removed, and the teeth are replaced with bridgework.
There are several benefits that may sway you towards the All-on-4 technique over other forms of denture or implant, including improved social confidence.
All-on-4 comes with many quality-of-life improvements, including removing the need for denture adhesive, allowing you to fully taste food as there is no denture plate covering the top of the mouth, and no tooth movement when you speak or eat. You will also regain natural tooth function and strength, allowing you to bite into apples and other more difficult foods without worry.
The procedure typically avoids bone grafting, which reduces the need for complex surgery, and there is minimal discomfort or pain. Using just four implants in each jaw can also reduce overall costs, making it much more affordable than some other implant or denture options.
