Christmas is now over and with the New Year about to begin. Here are some fun festive events that will help the whole family enjoy the rest of the holidays.
Peter Pan
If you fancy watching a Christmas pantomime, why not take the family to see Peter Pan and the Lost Boys for their adventures in Neverland as they battle Captain Hook and his trusty side-kick Smee.
Visit the Mermaid’s Lagoon, Tiger Lily’s Indian Encampment and fly over the streets of London before listening out for the ‘tick-tock’ of Hooks nemesis – the crocodile!
You can also enjoy watching the usual slapstick from Manor Operatic Society until Sunday, January 4th. Watch the famous dough scene, the rousing sing-song and of course, the best children’s game in town, Musical Buckets, this pantomime is one not to be missed!

The New Year Super Sleepover
Free, accompanied travel, from Sheffield Train Station
The event will take place from Monday 29th December to Friday 2nd January and is hosted by the ATE Trust, an educational trust with over 50 years’ experience of running fun holidays for children. Your child will enjoy three full days of wintery fun for just £275. This will include games, lots of laughter, shoeing Reindeer, Auld Lang Syne, New Year’s Eve Fireworks display and playful snowball fights. The event will take place at Bredenbury Country house where your childwill be sleeping in comfy dorms, with loads of indoor games space for groups to hide away and play games in, a big gym for big bench ball tournaments and huge grounds and woods for outdoor fun and adventures.
The holiday price is inclusive of food, board, activities, day trips and supervision. The only further money required would be a maximum of £10 pocket money to be sent along with your child for the week.
Your child will be picked up from any from any of the following towns or cities for no extra cost and delivered back a week later.
